“A rice cake that looks pleasant is also tasteful.” There are myriad Korean proverbs and expressions that reflect various attitudes toward food. This camp will introduce you to the colorful world of Korean food rich in nutrients, flavors, and aesthetics. We will explore what a Korean picnic looks like, what the most beloved summer cuisine is, learn more about Korean culture through storytelling, books, proverbs and a documentary and most importantly, experience the abundant bond through cooking and eating together!
