Tuition & Financial Aid

Tuition

We work hard to offer affordable tuition to islanders. According to data from the national and regional associations for independent schools, Salmonberry’s tuition and fees average 20-40% of those for other private schools which offer similar student:teacher ratios in tandem with high quality instruction and experiential learning opportunities.

Financial Aid

We strive to ensure that Salmonberery reflects the economic diversity of our island community. Please apply if you think that your family may qualify. Scholarships at Salmonberry School are need-based.  We also offer targeted scholarships for BIPOC families who are interested in attending Salmonberry. Salmonberry supports racial and ethnic equity and aspires to be a leader in the community as we work toward greater inclusivity, social justice and anti-racism.

Sibling Discount

When a family has more than one child attending Salmonberry, the family may request a 10% discount for each younger child. Full rate is paid on the highest amount. This applies to tuition only and does not apply to program fees.
